We visited Cape Town for 5 days, and had André as our guide for 3 days. He is a very good and knowledgeable guide, with the ability to convey information in an interesting and understandable way. André is not only a guide, but he is a very good friend now. During our 3 days, he showed us so many things around Cape Town, and we visited his home in Simon’s Town, where we met his wife.
If we ever should return to South Africa, and we hope to do that, we will be sure to contact him.
Thank you André for doing this trip, for the best and most memorable holiday of our lives.

Wir durften unvergessliche Tage mit André Rudman verbringen. Es war ein Riesenglück, dass wir einen solch tollen, motivierten, geduldigen und interessierten Menschen als Tourguide hatten. Alle Ausflüge, welche wir mit ihm unternommen hatten, waren interessant, voller Inspirationen und lehrreich. Zu jedem Gebäude und Berg wusste er viel zu erzählen. Die Touren hat er völlig flexibel auf unsere Bedürfnisse angepasst und auch unseren Kindern von 7 und 4 Jahren wurde es nie langweilig und sie hatten immer genügend Freiraum auch mal zum Herumtoben, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. In nur wenigen Tagen haben wir sehr viel über Kapstadt und die Umgebung erfahren. Er war mehr als nur ein Tourguide für uns und auch unsere kleinen Kinder haben ihn sehr in ihr Herz geschlossen. Wir vermissen ihn sehr und freuen uns jetzt schon auf eine weitere Reise nach Kapstadt.

Per Zufall entdeckten wir Andre Rudman im Internet und buchten mit ihm eine 6-Tages-Tour entlang der Gartenroute.

Rückblickend können wir sagen, dass Andre für uns ein wirklicher
Glückstreffer war. Wir erhielten ein detailliertes, auf uns zugeschnittenes Programm, was dennoch viel Spielraum für spontane Extras und Änderungen offen ließ. Andre erlebten wir als guten Fahrer, kompetenten und sachkundigen Führer, interessanten und freundlichen Gesprächspartner, geduldigen und warmherzigen Menschen.
Jeder Tag der Tour barg eine, von Andre vorbereitete, (positive) Überraschung.

Was wir spürten, war, dass Andre selber bei dieser Tour mit Freude und ganzem Engagement dabei war. Unser Fazit: Wir hätten uns diese Tour nicht besser vorstellen können. Für telefonische Auskünfte stehen wir gern zur Verfügung.

Südafrikatouren mit André Rudman

Mit dem staatlich geprüften Tourguide André Rudman habe ich während meiner häufigen Südafrikareisen viele ein-und mehrtägige Fahrten durch die westliche Kapprovinz gemacht. Jede Reise mit ihm war ein Höhepunkt meines Südafrikaurlaubes. Er brachte mich zu verschwiegenen Weingütern, alten Herrenhäusern mit kostbarer Einrichtung oder zu frühen Besiedlungsplätzen in Form von Freilichtmuseen. Zu Allem wußte Rudman historisch fundierte Geschichten zu erzählen. Auch bei Extrawünschen  für den Einkauf ausgefallener Afrikana hatte Rudman viel Geduld und immer die richtige Adresse parat. Seine Kenntnis von Restaurants, einfach oder luxuriös, ist groß. Seine sichere Fahrweise im klimatisierten Mercedes machte die Ausflüge noch angenehmer.
Das Erlebnis junge Geparde streicheln zu dürfen, Buschmann Zeichnungen zu bewundern oder durch ihn die Schönheit seiner Heimat erfahren zu können, ist  mir mit dem sympatischen Südafrikaner unvergesslich und denke dankbar an die Fahrten zurück.

We have now been to Cape Town and I must say that it was a lovely journey. During our first 2 days we went up to Table Mountain, went to Cape point, visited the Castle of Good Hope in Cape Town, and had a fantastic meeting with the penguins at the Boulders beach and many other things. But the one that made this trip unforgettable was our guide André. He was fantastic. Not only did he drive us around to all these places, he made us his friend at the same time and let us even visit his home in Simon's Town. He was the best guide we have ever had and we would love to see him again!
